EARTH DAY 2024

THE OCEAN IS OUR LAND

From 15 to 24 April, we are celebrating the World Earth Day (22 April) with the initiative “THE OCEAN IS OUR LAND”.

For the fifth year running, Oceano Azul Foundation challenges organisations and entities across the country to organise activities that address the ocean.

Educational activities, games, workshops, lectures, exhibitions, and more, are open for different audiences around the country the country, or even in virtual format.

These activities seek to provide an experience of proximity to the ocean, because only those who know it protect it. The aim is to involve every citizen in the important mission of caring for and protecting the ocean.

Check out the programme HERE (calendar in Portuguese), explore the activities, and take part in this great initiative with your family and friends! #TheOceanIsOurLand

IF YOU ARE PART OF AN NGO, ASSOCIATION OR OTHER ORGANISATION,
THERE IS STILL TIME TO REGISTER AN ACTIVITY!

The aim of this initiative is to increase ocean literacy by addressing its various traits and the important role it plays for all life on Earth. For 10 days, national organisations and entities working to protect the ocean will come together to give it a voice, raising awareness of the problems it faces and providing information resources on how everyone can help tackle them.

See you there!
